Collegiate scholars is basically a selective college prep program that takes place over the course of three summers starting freshman year. You take classes with UChicago professors (no college credit, but still a nice supplement for each summer), learn how to prep for college, and attend various seminars hosted by UChicago throughout the year. I'm likely going to apply either way, but is this the best available enrichment program? I was told that colleges look favorably upon applicants who've participated in this program, but I was wondering if anyone else had experience with this program and whether it proved to be beneficial or not.
