Phony to ask for sophomore year teacher for recommendation?

So I am a high school junior, and during my sophomore year, I had a good rapport with one of my teachers. In the very beginning of this current school year, I asked her to recommend me for a summer internship, which she did. Now, I have fallen out of touch with her, as I have not been in her class for ~6 months. I need a recommendation for another internship, and I am considering just asking her again, because she can just use the same one. She runs an after-school club, and I am considering going there a few times in order to make her more comfortable when I ask her for another rec. Would this be a phony move? Is it ok for me to just email her to ask if she would write one? Or should I ask in person? Or should I ask a junior year teacher instead? Please advise Thanks
