In the Chance Me entries, I've seen a lot of STEM profiles that published papers in their sophomore/junior year with professors from Harvard, Stanford, etc. How does one go about contacting professors/universities for research work or publication? My main interest is conducting research in the biology and genealogy field and I'd love to gain research experience or potentially an internship there, even if it's virtual. If anyone has any recommendations or links that would be super helpful.
