I'm currently a junior and recently started researching summer program opportunities. The SUMAC program seems really interesting, but I noticed that they only take ~45 students. How difficult do you think it is to get into the program?
I've taken some college math courses, but I've never done any competition math before. Will I be at a significant disadvantage applying?
