Hey everyone, I had a couple questions about the local MIT PRIMES (not to be confused with MIT-PRIMES USA).
I'm from a suburb of Boston and was wondering what qualifications I need to attend this after-school program (I know, technically not a "Summer Program").
Is it as selective as MIT PRIMES USA?
Do I need to have taken Calculus to attend?
Do they only need me to solve the problems sets and get 2-3 letters of recommendation for the application or are there more parts to the application?
I know a professor at MIT and a student in the PRIMES program who knows some of the undergrads running it. Does this help me?
I am not a math GENIUS, but I'm pretty good at math and love it. I also love computer science and logic.
I know I'm not giving a lot of information about myself, that is not the point of this post. I just want information about this prestigious and selective program.
