Hi guys! I'm a current sophomore at a school in the Bay Area. I'm thinking of applying to SIP of UCSC, YSP of UCD, and the Stanford Earth Science internship. Can someone give me some chances and advice?
GPA: 4.0 (unweighted), 4.6 (weighted) -- basically all A+s and As
APs: AP Chinese (5), currently taking AP Chemistry, AP European History, and self-studying AP Psychology
Courseload: all honors coupled with business and programming electives, physics taken freshman year
Service: volunteer at program that teaches underprivileged girls how to code
Extracurriculars:
1. President and founder of an academic competition club at school
2. Officer in DECA
3. Officer in a team that organizes a conference every year
4. Director in a journalism program
5. Play piano: Advanced level
6. Creative writing: contributes to magazines and competitions
Awards:
1. Was international champion in DECA my freshman year
2. Various other smaller awards
I'm currently doing a psych project for synopsys, but other than that I don't have much experience. Would really appreciate the help!! Thanks!
