I was going to do a science focused internship this summer, but due to family issues, it is likely out of the plan. Instead, I am planning to volunteer at a hospital and get a job. I will do it regardless, as it is something I think I'll have fun in especially since I know a large amount of my community, but I am worried it won't hold the same weight as an internship. Thoughts please?
