I recently received an email from the Youth Leadership Consortium inviting me to apply for the Young Leader's Summit. It says it accepts 200 low-income students and will be held at UChicago without any fees, even transportation. It says it's partners with College Board, Wells Fargo, Jack Kent Cookie Foundation, American Indian College Fund, etc. so it seems legit and they aren't asking for money... but I can't find any info on the web.
I've tried googling them and nothing comes up and their website is blocked by my school.
They do ask for personal info on the application about income and stuff tho.
Has anyone gone to this program before or is it a scam?
