A friend's 18 year-old son has the opportunity to spend 1-3 weeks this summer in at a dance program in Manhattan but it's adult-centered and doesn't have any housing facilities. Parent(s) will spend a few days with him at the beginning but after that he will be on his own. His parents are teachers with a modest budget as college tuition starts in just a few months.
I used to live in and know Manhattan very well but don't have any knowledge of short term student housing.
Any ideas?
