Hey guys,
I was one of many people in our school asked to apply to a Gov School. After reading all the applications, our school will then pick the two best applicants per each school (Science and Engineering). I'm pretty nervous because now I basically have to go through TWO application processes- one for my school and then the actual one. I'm planning on applying for the Science School. I'm just a little nervous about my PSAT. When I took it Sophomore year, I got a score in the 1500s and was pretty confident, but I just got my Junior scores back and my score went down to in the high 1400s. It's disappointing, but I'm more worried about if this is good enough for Gov School. A lot of kids applying to gov school in my school got around this score, give or take about 30 points. How much weight does the PSAT have for gov school? Do you think my school will still consider me a good applicant if my other factors outweigh the others? I have a high SAT score and science/math extracurriculars
