I might apply to a summer program (Rosetta Institute) but I'm not sure if I'd rather go to their camp or take Introductory Chemistry at my local community college. My parents can afford the summer camp, but we're not sure if it's worth it. (I'm not even sure if I'm truly interested in it).
So far my pros/cons looks like this:
Rosetta Institute:
pros: looks better to colleges (?) + study in specific area of molecular bio + only 2 weeks, so I'll have time to do other things
cons: expensive ($3280 residential/$2680 commuter) + I'm not very good at molecular bio
Introductory Chemistry:
pros: may take General Chemistry in fall + cost is free + live at home + can still hang out with friends
cons: over a month long + ~6 hr a day of just chemistry/3 days a wk + I'm not good at chem ( --> bad grade?)
