Hello y'all,
I am a sophomore with a huge interest in Political Science and am considering applying to the Senate Page Program for 2019. I know it's super early, but I either want to pursue this program or forget about it. I don't really want to do the summer sessions because I feel it will be too short for such an opportunity. I would do the Fall session but I won't be 16 by the time the program probably starts.
So i'm confined to the Spring session, and for that I have a few questions that I hope a former page can answer:
1. Are you excused for AP exams? My school has a major system and virtually all majors have quite a few APs. If possible, I would like to take the exams.
2. About when does the program end? New York state has Regents exams in mid-June, I would preferably like to be back in time for those exams and not take the late exams in August.
3. When are you informed of the decision?
Thank you!
