Camino al Futuro 2016

Hi! I'm considering applying to the Caminos al Futuro program at George Washington University. Has anyone here attended it in the past? It is an all-expense-paid summer program that lasts 3 weeks, and it's only for high-achieving juniors who have "demonstrated service and leadership in the Latino communities". I would receive 3 college credits and it's completely free. It sounds pretty cool, but I'm not sure if it's the right fit for me. My grandma was born and raised in Cuba, but she never taught Spanish to my dad so I don't know any Spanish. Even though I'm ¼ Hispanic (which is enough for programs and college apps), I don't really identify as Hispanic. Do you think I should still apply to this program? I don't want to be the only non-Spanish speaker in the program... My other options are LEDA and QuestBridge, which I haven't heard back from, or a non-credit program at UCSD that I'm guaranteed to get into. Thanks so much for any advice!
