Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum and I saw one or two older threads about Stanford's summer program, but both were pretty old and I didn't want to bump them.
Stanford is 8 weeks long and about $10,000 if I took courses worth 8 credits in total. That seems like a lot to me, I was wondering if I could get anyone's opinion on whether or not it's worth it? There are other programs, like Harvard, etc. that are 8 weeks long and a grand or two cheaper.
I'm really looking for a new experience. I live on the east coast, I've never been to California, and all of the other summer programs I've been accepted to are in Boston/New York.
Could anyone tell me about Stanford's dorm life? How strict it is, etc. Also, any information about classes, other activities, and the professors (are they real Stanford professors?) would be greatly appreciated.
